Holiday 2022: Babbacombe Model Village and Oddicombe Beach

Our second day in Torquay began with a visit to Babbacombe Model Village.  Tickets cost £61 for all five of us. This was an incredible place to visit and we were the first to arrive so it wasn’t too busy for the first hour.
I loved all of the detail included in the model scenes. The Bake Off set up and the city centre with amended business names were highlights for me. We also had our first ever attempt at crazy golf.
The kids were wowed by the house of fire and fire breathing dragon. There were Where’s Wally characters to spot as well as alphabet.

After lunch we went on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway which took us down to Oddicombe beach.
We spent a lovely couple of hours playing in the sea and sand. There were sandcastles, paddling and swimming (Chris). Anya and I made some art (Anya’s sand face was AMAZING! Does it remind anyone else of Han Solo in carbonite?)
