My heart sank when I saw this prompt. I am not a very creative person and Chris is usually the one who does anything arty or crafty with the kids. I took a deep breath and decided to get on with it…
I let Zach loose with glue and he LOVED it so cue some Mum Guilt for not doing more crafts with them all 🙁
So I needed something that was quick and easy, that a 2 year old and his non-arty mum could do using stuff around the house.
We have cotton wool, lots of cotton wool so it was an easy decision to make a ghost.
I folded some A5 paper in half and cut out a ghost shape then we had fun tearing up cotton wool and rolling it into little balls. I drew on a face and used a hole punch to make a hole at the top to put some ribbon through (leftover from our wedding 🙂 )
I drizzled glue onto the template and Zach added the cotton wool balls.
He was so pleased with the finished design that he asked to do another one straightaway and this time I let him apply the glue himself. Goodness that was a LOT of glue he used!
