Reading is such a magical thing. It can take you to new worlds, let you discover new people, places and events and most of all have fun.
I am so proud of my children developing their reading, all 3 of them love books.
Being able to share books from my childhood with my own children has been very special. I can’t wait for them to be old enough for the Chronicles of Narnia and the Harry Potter series. I still read children’s/teenagers’ books now as the plots and characters are so good (such as the Hunger Games)
My own favourite novels are historical fictions, in particular Philippa Gregory’s books set during the Tudor period. I also enjoy thrillers so like Dan Brown’s books, especially his older one Deception Point and Digital Fortress. I spent my teenage years reading Agatha Christie’s novels and love to challenge ‘my little grey cells’ (so adored the recent murder mystery charity dinner I attended!)
