I can’t explain it, I really can’t but I have been obsessed by the moon in January.

I was thrilled to take this photo at the start of the month using my Nikon B7200. I have always wanted to take a photo of the moon and finally I had achieved it!

Last night’s super blue blood moon was spectacular.

I captured it at 6pm and it looked similar in shade to the one above.

I was disappointed not to see the lunar eclipse and resulting red tones but the brightness of the moon was amazing. I even got out of the house at 2am to get these pics (thanks Zach for waking me up!)

I have absolutely no desire to go into space but there is something incredible about our beautiful universe and the moon in particular as it is the closest thing to our own planet.
