Way back in January, we decided to make more of an effort to take the children and dogs out in the local area.
I had heard of Castle Bottom (a nature reserve in Hampshire, 5 minutes in the car from our home) several times but never knew exactly where it was.
A few wrong turns, a wander along Blackbushe Airport’s former runway, a geocache…
…and we finally found it!
The scenery was spectacular and there were plenty of opportunities to admire the wonderful nature surrounding us.
The kids were able to run ahead and explore, including Zach spotting some adder shelters.
Home via some big puddles, what more could kids want?!
