After our trip to Farnham Castle, we headed off to another free English Heritage site nearby: the ruins of Waverley Abbey, England’s first Cistercian monastery.
The ruins were spectacular and beautiful.
Sadly they were also completely spoilt by ineffective, ignorant, idiotic parents who were letting their children climb on everything, endangering themselves and our heritage. Such a shame 🙁
