Somehow, summer is over. Apparently we have had 6 weeks off… The tummy bug at the weekend really knocked up for six so it has been a struggle. Further to my last post about panic, that was NOTHING compared to this morning.
I was writing Matthew’s name in everything at 7.30 this morning. I was sending frantic messages on Facebook to check on school dinner money and snacks. His water bottle hasn’t arrived (due today, completely me being a rubbish mum 🙁 )
But seeing his little face, all grown up, no longer a baby but a boy facing the newest chapter of his life story, I CRIED. A lot. But thankfully got it out of my system before the school run.
Anya and Zach were there to offer support 🙂
One last surprise for Matthew, the Lego Ninjago bag he wanted but I’d told him I hadn’t got it (it was only delivered on Monday so I was cutting it fine!)
School apparently went well and I was able to give him his water bottle when he got home. Anya loves her pink version, all set for Monday!
