This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week and Thursday 17th February is Random Acts of Kindness Day so here are some ideas for kids and parents. It would be lovely if you tried to do some every week all year!
Kids
Smile 😀
Older kids could prepare a meal for the family.
Tidy up without being asked.
Hold open a door.
Feed birds or ducks.
Donate old toys to charity or children’s group.
Pick up litter.
Make a thank you card for your parent or teacher.
Sit down to eat or play with someone on their own.
Paint rocks with happy images and hide in local area.
Parents
Phone or message a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while
Put down your screen and play a game
Donate to a food bank or charity shop
Tell your child’s teacher they are doing a great job
Let someone go ahead at the supermarket
Adopt an animal at a zoo or via a charity
Visit elderly or single neighbours
Tell a colleague something they have done well
Put a neighbour’s bin away
Write a note for your child’s lunch box
