Chas and Wurzel, where do I start?!
The boys are just like my kids, very distinctive personalities! I never thought two dogs, particularly twins could be so different from each other.
Chas is the goody two shoes around the house and will frequently tell off Wurzel who eats random stuff off the windowsill and climbs on the dining table. However outside the house, the roles reverse and Chas barks crazily at people, cars, bins, other dogs etc.
Chas likes to run and pulls me along so it feels like he is walking me! Meanwhile Wurzel wants to stop and sniff EVERYTHING so walks take twice as long. Both boys are desperate to be friends with strangers but while Wurzel is calmer initially, he copes less well when a human tries to make contact. Chas goes mad then adores the attention.
Meet Sugar. She is the oldest of our guinea pigs and the most confident. She insists on being hand fed and now the others follow suit! Feeding time lasts quite a while now… Last summer she would charge at the bars of her hutch or run when the dogs approached and they would run away in fear. The guinea pigs are all getting increasingly vocal as we get to know them.
Do you have pets and are they very different from each other?
