Day 276: recovering from BlogOn and I didn’t even make it to the party! Goody bag excellent as usual…

Day 277: progress on Duolingo is going well and I have now moved to the highest league, woohoo!

 

Day 278: methinks both boys need a haircut as they are both growing side curls! Or could it be a Regency look for the historians amongst you?!

Day 279: ooh the excitement when Matthew brings home lateral flow tests in a new box (and nasal only!) Poor lad now has to test daily as his school has so many covid cases 🙁

Day 280: nothing weird here at all and no explanation possible!

Day 281: alien day for Zach and I drew my now traditional third eye on his forehead

Day 282: a very misty start to my run. Two false starts as I forgot my glasses then left the keys in the door!

    Well done with Duolingo.
    hehehe! The boys showing off their long hair did make me chuckle.
    We were very excited when we got the new Covid tests too. They are so much easier to do too. x

    I’ve seen pics of BlogOn on Insta, it did look like fun. The goodie bag is super. Regency style hair all the way! Well done on Duolingo. What language do you study? I’m thinking of trying to re-learn French so that I can help Eddie with his French homework. I studied it such a long time ago that forgot almost everything.

    I’ve never heard of an alien day. Love the third eye idea for an easy outfit. It has been so foggy in the mornings here too this week, very autumnal. All the cases in schools are a nightmare. Thankfully we’ve only had 3 kids off in the school, and another ended up negative but N’s tennis coach tested positive on LFT the other day, but then negative on PCR. I’m not sure if that’s one of the situations that lots are finding themselves in, that the PCRs aren’t picking up the cases for some reason, when LFTs that are positive are meant to be pretty reliable. Hopefully by his lesson next week, the coach won’t have had any other positive LFTs.

    Hope you had an amazing time at BlogOn. Oh bless him not great fun we are testing every other day here but I do prefer the new tests to the old ones. Love the idea of Alien day at school, both mine need haircuts too although I do like slightly shaggy hair styles!
